I am a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven educator certified in Family and Consumer Sciences, Business Technology, and Music Education. I have 17 years of experience and a strong commitment to the social and academic development of middle school and junior high age students. I believe in the power of a professional learning community and enjoy becoming immersed in building culture. I whole heartedly believe learning begins when students find personal interest and real-world application in what they are learning. No matter the subject area, it is my goal to create highly engaging lessons for all my students.  I practice a "whatever it takes" teaching philosophy in which I leave no stone unturned and use any and all teaching methods to reach and inspire my students.  Lastly, I believe building rapport and creating strong relationships with students is an invaluable component of learning in the classroom. 

I reside in Bentonville, Arkansas with my family; Bradley, Mason (10), Aiden (6) and our mini-Goldendoodle, Rey Skywalker. I love our community and enjoy giving back any chance I get.
